New display distributor for Italian market
1st July 2010 Maidenhead, UK. Hitachi Europe Ltd, Display Products Group (DPG) has
announced the appointment of Special Ind SpA to their Italian distribution network.
Based in Milan, with regional offices in Rome and Torino, Special Ind SpA will begin
promotion, support and sales for Hitachi DPG's industrial LCD display modules. They
join present sales channel partners Avnet Embedded, Mectronic and Silverstar SpA
as franchised distributors in Italy.
"We have experienced a strong recovery in sales of LCD display modules during
the first half of 2010 and the appointment of a new channel partner gives us a stronger
platform to achieve further growth," commented Mark Stanley, Sales and Marketing

and review the performance of our distribution network in Europe to ensure we have
