Die Hitachi Display Products Group stellte jetzt das neue LCD-Displaymodul SP06Q002-T vor. Das kompakte Display im 1/4-VGA-Format hat eine Diagonale von 2,6 Zoll und bietet dabei eine eindrucksvolle Auflösung von 320 x 240 Bildpunkten mit einem Bildpunktabstand von nur 0,16 mm in sehr kleinem Formfaktor. Dank seiner hervorragenden Auflösung ist das elegante Display in Film-STN-Technologie mit bernsteingelbem LED-Backlight ideal für die Darstellung feiner Details und gestochen scharfer Bilder. Entwickelt wurde es für Handheld‑, portable und andere Konsumelektronik-Geräte, darunter Home-Entertainment-Systeme und Digitalradios. Da das SP06Q002-T sehr robust ist und problemlos in einem breiten Temperaturbereich (‑20 °C bis +70 °C) arbeitet, lässt es sich unter fast allen Umgebungsbedingungen einsetzen.
Mark Dalton, Product Marketing Engineer bei der Hitachi Display Products Group, erklärte dazu: „Dieses robuste, kompakte LCD-Modul ist eine perfekte Lösung für Produkte, die kein volles Farbdisplay benötigen, bei denen aber auf Ästhetik und elegantes Design Wert gelegt wird. Das ist oft bei preissensitiven Großserienartikeln in der Konsumelektronik der Fall. Da das SP06Q002-T mit einem Drittel der Bandbreite und Speicherkapazität eines Farbdisplays auskommt, stellt es weniger Ansprüche an die Elektronik, die für die Ansteuerung erforderlich ist. Das bedeutet mehr Flexibilität und Wirtschaftlichkeit. Wir können das SP06Q002-T-Modul auch anpassen und Varianten mit weißem, blauem oder grünem LED-Backlight liefern, wenn die Kunden das wünschen.“
Zwecks höherer Elastizität und Festigkeit kam bei dem neuen Displaymodul Chip-on-Glass-Technik zum Einsatz. Das Display arbeitet in Transflektiv-Technik mit bernsteingelben LEDs als Backlight. Mit seinen Abmessungen von nur 67,1 x 55,8 x 3,8 mm (B x H x T) ist es ideal für die meisten Einsatzbereiche, bei denen es auf hohe Auflösung und ausgezeichnetes Betriebsverhalten sowie auf besonders hohe Widerstandsfähigkeit gegenüber Luftfeuchtigkeit, Stoß‑ und Schwingungsbelastung ankommt. Das Modul ist auch mit Touchpanel verfügbar.
