Hitachi Display Products Group voted best LCD supplier by Italian distributors w ins prestigious Assodel Award for excellence in LCD supply and manufacturing
Hitachi Display Products Group, a division of Hitachi Europe Ltd, has been voted best LCD supplier by its distribution partners in Italy. Hitachi was presented with the award at the annual Assodel Awards gala dinner held in Milan, Italy. Assodel (The Italian Association of Electronics Suppliers) has over 130 members and represents 95% of semi-conductor and 70% of component distribution in Italy. Its annual award ceremony is held for distributors to show their recognition and appreciation to the manufacturers that they believe have provided them with the best levels of service, support and product innovation. The award for the displays category was accepted by Gareth Thomas, Fabio Munero and Duccio Petrocchi of Hitachi Display Products Group.

The Assodel Awards are decided on the basis of a vote by members. Each manufacturer is rated on a number of criteria including innovation, product quality, after-sales support and technology.
