Simplify Technologies GmbH is a value-add partner of Hitachi Display Products Group. By reducing the inherent complexity of display interfacing and simplifying the integration of increasingly complex functions and graphical user interfaces into products, Simplify Technologies is able to help reduce time-to-market on product development and improve LCD module utilization.

Simplify Technologies offers both component and complete solutions that help speed up the development of user interfaces designed with Hitachi LCD modules.

GUI software library: Developers designing their own display interface can save significant development time by using the Simplify Technologies GUI software library. Using ANSI-C source code it offers developers a ready-made set of features and instructions that can be used in GUI development. The GUI library features direct control of the hardware and therefore significantly reduces programming time.

Fully integrated driver solutions: Simplify Technologies has developed a range of Hitachi-specific LCD solutions that include an integrated PCB card and offer a full GUI development library and LCD controller solution. These cards are assembled complete with the display, pre-programmed and fully tested, eliminating the need for designers to spend time on display interfacing and allowing them to send simple display commands directly to the module without the need to write specific instructions.

These modules are designed to work with the following Hitachi LCD display modules: SP14Q006, SP14Q005 (monochrome), SX14Q004 (colour STN), TX14D11VM1CBA (colour TFT) with or without touch screen.

Both the GUI library and integrated driver solutions have been designed with compatibility of the application program in mind, ensuring an easy migration path for future changes to a customer product.
