Hitachi Display Products Group names Arrow Southern Europe as European distributor of the year

Hitachi Europe Ltd, Display Products Group (DPG) is pleased to announce that Arrow Southern Europe has been chosen as their European distributor of the year from over twenty distribution partners in the EMEA region. The announcement was made during Hitachi’s European distribution sales channel conference held recently in Dunkeld, Scotland. The distributor of the year award is the outcome of new project identification, design win performance, excellent customer support and continued sales growth over a twelve month period.

Hitachi continues to introduce widescreen TFT LCD displays

Hitachi Europe Ltd, Display Products Group (DPG) continues to enhance and develop its range of wide aspect ratio LCD TFT displays. Traditional TFT technology and the continued migration of Hitachi’s impressive IPS-Pro (in-plane-switching) technology to industrial and commercial displays enables Hitachi to offer an expanding portfolio of wide format TFT display solutions. The family line up now includes display sizes of 7, 8, 9, 12, 15.4 and 17 inches and supports WVGA and WXGA resolutions. Hitachi’s IPS-Pro technology now provides the industrial market with medium size displays that benefit from exceptionally wide viewing angles, excellent colour saturation and reproduction.

Hitachi introduces two ultra high performance 17-inch TFT displays

Hitachi Display Products Group today, 7th May 2008, launches the 17-inch SXGA TX43D57VC0CAA and the 17-inch WXGA TX43D55VM0BAA which, for the first time, bring the superior performance of IPS-Pro to industrial LCD displays. IPS-Pro, the latest evolution of Hitachi?s In-Plane Switching technology provides a stable colour image from any viewing angle. These new display products offer excellent colour saturation with very high contrast ratios. The black level of both displays combined with improved transmittance helps to provide contrast ratios of up to 1000:1. These characteristics also mean that high brightness can be achieved without increasing the power consumption of the backlight...
